This is a heavy duty outdoor umbrella. The 1 7/8 inch diameter pole is one of the thickest poles we offer. The heavy duty pulley system makes opening and closing this large umbrella simple. With attention to detail that includes heavy duty reinforced stitching at the rib corners to prevent rips and tears, brass plated hardware and a vented breezeway you can be confident you are getting a well-made patio umbrella.
